Principal Advisorof Shenzhen Municipal Government on Water Pollution Control, mainly in charge of integrated water pollution control and management in river basins in 2006-;

Principal Consultant on the design, supervising construction and operation of wastewater from two pulp and paper mills in Zhanhua County, Shandong Province by multi-cell ponds-SF constructed wetland systems with a treatment capacity of 35,000m3/d and 20,000m3/d respectively in 2005-2006;

Principal Consultant for design, supervising construction and operation of the municipal wastewater treatment plant in Kenli County, Shandong Province with a treatment capacity of 40,000m3/d and Hybrid SBF-AS process in 2004-2006; The MWWTP has been built and put into operation with good performance;

Principal Consultant for design, supervising construction and operation of the Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant in Guangrao County, Shandong Provonce, with a treatment capacity of 50,000m3/d and hybrid SBF-AS process in 2003-2005;the MWWTP has been built and put into operation in 2004 with good performance;

Principal consultant for design, supervising construction and operation of the Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant with a treatment capacity of 100,000 m3/d and using multi-stage ponds(advanced facultative ponds, aeration ponds, Aerated fish ponds, fish ponds, duckweed pond and SF constructed wetlandin 1998-2002. The MWWTP has been built and put into operation since October 1st, 2000 with good performance, the effluent well meets 1A classstandards in warm seasons and meets 1B or 2nd class standards in cold seasons;

Feasibility study and design of Babaichang Sewage Treatment Plant in Daqing City, Heilongiang Province with a total treatment capacity of 50,000 m3/d by the application of hybrid activated sludge process followed by double medium filtration for wastewater reclamation and reuse for oil field recharge. The project will be completed and put into operation by the end 1999-2000.

Feasibility study and design of Dongying Ecological Wastewater Treatment and Utilization System(EWTUS) in Dongying City, Shandong Province with a total treatment capacity of 100,000 m3/d by the application of Ecological System consisting of high efficiency hybrid anaerobic ponds, aeration pond, aerated fish ponds, lotus ponds and reed pond, which will be completed and put into operation in October 1999.

Feasibility study of advanced water treatment plant serving a residential area of Yanshan Petrochemical Complex in Beijing in 1998-1999.

Principal consultant on design, construction and trial operation of Chongfengzhang Sewage Treatment Plant in Daqing City, Heilongiang Province with a total treatment capacity of 30,000 m3/d by the application of activated sludge process followed by micro-flocculation/direct filtration for wastewater reclamation and reuse for oil field recharge. The project was completed and put into operation with good performance in 1992.

Principal consultant responsible for the design, construction, operation and on-site full-scale researches of Sewage Treatment Plant in Clifford Residential Area, Panyu City, Guangdong Province with a total treatment capacity of 10,000 m3/d applying submerged biofilm A/O process for nitrogen removal through nitrification and de-nitrification accomplished in oxic and anoxic zones respectively. The project will be put into operation by the end of 1998.

Principal consultant responsible for the design and supervision of the construction and operation of potable water treatment plants with ozonation and biological activated carbon processes in Daqing City, and Qianguo City with a total treatment capacity of 20,000 m3/d and 10,000m3/d respectively, which have been put into operation with excellent performance since 1995.

Principal consultant responsible for the design, construction and trial operation and training operating personnel of domestic wastewater reclamation and reuse projects with capacity from 100 to 1000 m3/d for hotels, residential and/or office buildings or their groups. A total of 12 projects and have ben accomplished in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province and Qingdao City, Shandong Province respectively since 1993.

Principal consultant responsible for the design and supervision of the construction and trial operation of textile dyeing and printing wastewater treatment plants in Panyu City. A total of five projects with capacity from 3000 to 10,000 m3/d have been put into operation up to now. The processes employed are equalization - pH adjustment -submerged biofilm A/O process - chemical coagulation/flocculation and settling - biological activated carbon process, or polishing ponds planted with water hyacinth.

Principal consultant responsible for the design, construction, operation and researches of vehicles washing wastewater treatment and recycling systems at Shawan Vehicle Washing Station, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province with a treatment capacity of 7500m3/d , which was put into operation in 1994.

Principal consultant responsible for the design, construction, operation and researches of high strength organic wastewater from washing of cars carrying cattle and pigs from Shenzhen to Hong Kong. The Wastewater Treatment Plant at the North Railway Station in Shenzhen with a treatment capacity of 200m3/d and employing anaerobic-aerobic processes, now just in design and will be put into operation in 1998.

An high efficiency multi-cell pond system for treating piggery wastewater with a treatment capacity of 200 m3/d has been designed, constructed and put into operation since 1994 in Panyu City, Guangdong province. The pond system consists of advanced anaerobic pond with digestion pits on bottom, intensified anaerobic transformation ponds, algae/bacterial symbiotic ponds and fish ponds. The performance is very good with very high removal efficiency: BOD5 decreased from 5000-6000 mg/l in influent to 20-30 mg/l in effluent; COD 10,000-15,000 mg/l to 150-200 mg/l, and TN from 200-300 to 30-40 mg/l.

Principal consultant on environmental impact assessment (EIA) for 25 projects including petrochemical complexes, pulp and paper mills, textile factories, beet sugar mills, machinery, power plants, coal and metals mines, railways stations, and airport from 1985-present;

Principal consultant on design, construction and operation of large scale pond system in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang province, with a total treatment capacity of 250,000 cubic meters a day, the largest municipal sewage pond system in China, which covers 850 ha, consisting of anaerobic, facultative and storage/aerobic, eco-ponds from 1986-1990;

Principal consultant on design of the largest pond system in China or even in the world for treating industrial wastewater from Daqing Petrochemical Complex with a total treatment capacity of 150,000 m3/d and a total coverage area of 2000 ha. in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province;

Principal consultant on design, construction and operation of intensified pond system in Anda City with a total treatment capacity of 20,000 cubic meters a day, which consists of anaerobic ponds with submerged biofilm on fibrous carriers, facultative and maturation/storage ponds, from 1984 to 1991;

Principal consultant on design of eco-pond system in Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province with a total treatment capacity of 50,000 cubic meters a day, which consists of intensive facultative, aerated and fish ponds, from 1982 to1984;
